Who For? Anyone given the task of using this type of machinery. Anyone responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspecting mobile access towers. Anyone required to use ladders or step ladders.

Assessment Theory and practical Tests
Supporting Docs A course content and notes booklet, and a current Code of Practice booklet will be issued to all delegates who attend the course
Certificates A Certificate and PhotoCard for IPAF, PASMA And Ladder Association will be issued to successful delegates who complete the course (both theory and assessment) at the level they attend the course - has a five year validity.
Personal Protective Equipment Hard hat, high visibility vest, safety footwear, gloves and safety glasses.
Pre-requisites Language comprehension, literacy, physically fit - NO PROBLEMS WITH - eyesight or hearing, heart disease, blood pressure, epilepsy or fear of height/vertigo or giddiness, impaired limb function, alcohol or drug dependence, psychiatric illness.
Cost per delegate 1 to 3 delegates = £330.00 + vat per delegate
4 to 6 delegates = £290.00 + vat per delegate
7 to 12 delegates = £250.00 + vat per delegate

Product Standards EN 1004:2004.
Assembling, altering and dismantling towers incorporating current best practice for fall protection.
Inspection of completed mobile access towers and completion of tower inspection records.
Hazards affecting the use of mobile access towers.
Theory Test.
Practical Training.
Practical assessment.
Course evaluation.

Ladder User:
Introduction to the course.
Ladders and step ladder component parts.
Overview of legislation and regulations including Work at Height. Standards and classifications.
Planning and organising.
Assessment of risks.
Inspection and records.
Storage, handling and maintenance.
